| Project results in the flashlight of 2012
|
While new projects will start their activities in 2012 as part of our 4th Call, some projects are well on track with the planned actions and others have even already finalised their activities.
During the last years, we have been able to support remarkable projects that deem to be known by a broader audience.
That is why project results will be put in the spotlight in 2012. In that context, we have launched the initiative 12 months - 12 projects, which aims at highlighting the results achieved by 12 Alpine projects.
Each month, we will inspire you with tangible outcomes and concrete activities showing you which impact the Alpine Space Programme has in your region - investing in your future.

12 MONTHS - 12 PROJECTS
|
|
|
On our first issue of the 12 Months - 12 Projects initiative, we would like to present you the great communication effort undertaken by the project Demochange. Just one example how our projects can be communicated to the general public in an attractive way. Participate in the DEMOCHANGE PHOTO CONTEST! The aim of this contest is to raise awareness among the general public on the importance of demographic change in the Alpine space.
The submitted photographs should show: Alpine regions and the changes in housing, the appearance of villages and changes in infrastructure imposed by the emigration of young people and the aging of society.
The winning pictures, which will be selected by the Jury, will be exhibited in a show at a famous museum/gallery. A travelling exhibition on several other places connected with the Demochange project will follow. The pictures will also be used to illustrate scientific papers and digital reports. Read more about the photocontest
About DEMOCHANGE This project provides general adaptation strategies for Alpine regions to their spatial plans and regional development programmes. Thirteen partners are elaborating concrete strategies in ten model regions and implement them by pilot actions. The regional achieved results will be merged to general strategies and disseminated by an exchange network. Find out more about this project
