Main objectives
Canoeing, downhill, free fly, orienteering, and adventure parks together with quality food and hospitality attract numerous tourists, if they are conjugated with sustainability. Most of these business initiatives are run by local private associations and SMEs that are competent and dynamic. Nevertheless, they need to exchange experiences, share good practices and promote the network. Therefore, the project proposes to activate cooperation between private and public organizations to improve service quality. The overall objective of the project is to generate development opportunities in the Alpine area to strengthen the immaterial cultural heritage of Alpine Lifestyle through private-public partnerships that guarantee the quality of the tourist services.
Description of activities
Set up of the concept of Alpine Lifestyle: Definition of standard criteria to adopt in single initiatives to ensure service quality and coherence with Alpine lifestyle as well as sustainability. Complete catalogue of the initiatives related to sport and recreational services and food/hospitality providers to highlight success stories and practices Sharing success stories and best practice: Through exchanging and sharing, the project will improve the quality of single initiatives and will inspire new ones Define a private-public partnership model for the valorization of immaterial assets. Pilot initiatives for networking and valorization of the sites: The project will implement pilot cases of public-private partnership that will be developed at transnational level.

- No. 1 common manual defining the concept of Alpine Lifestyle - No. transnational catalogue of outdoor sport/recreational initiatives and excellence centers for food/hospitality services - Several initiatives for exchanging best practices among entrepreneurs of sport sectors - No. 1 model for public-private partnerships in Alpine Space cooperation area - Some pilot cases for the networking and valorization of recreational initiatives (set up and promotion of transnational tourist packages)
