The Mountain Community of Camonica Valley, as managing body of the Cultural District, participates with the Lombardy Region in the Interreg Alpine Space European project AlpFoodway on food production and consumption practices in the Alps in connection with the traditions, landscapes and the cultures of the local territories.
AlpFoodway: a cross-disciplinary, transnational and participative approach to Alpine food cultural heritage is funded by the European Union with the participation of the Mountain Community of Camonica Valley as a partner, together with institutions of the following countries: Italy and Switzerland (Lombardy Region and Polo Poschiavo as project leader), Slovenia, France, Germany and Austria.
The project has the general objective of long-term safeguard of knowledge and rituals related to the Alpine anthropic landscape, with a focus on agro-environmental bio diversity.
Mountain Community of Camonica Valley is selecting three members of a Reasearch Group that consists of:
Figure 1 - A Project Manager with proven experience in the field of safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage
Figure 2 - A researcher with proven experience in the field of anthropological research among rural communities;
Figure 3 - a documentary film-maker with proven experience in video-audio documentation of rural communities and intangible cultural heritage.
