On Monday 23 October 2017 the Cerema team will meet technical local actors and present AlpES maps and indicators. The following participants will be attending the meeting: the Community Forest Association, the Chamber of Agriculture, the Organic Farming Association, hunters, fishermen, the Regional Environment Agency (ARPE PACA), the PACA Region, the Alpes Maritimes Departmental Council.

On Wednesday 25 October 2017, Cerema will present the AlpES Project and discuss with elected representatives and local players.

The AlpES Project is a real gateway to other stakeholders’ contacts and other projects

In Partnership with the PACA Region, INRA (the French national Institute for Agricultural research) and IRSTEA (National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture) Cerema will work on an economic assessment of ecosystem services provided by the territory of the PACA Region PNR under three different scenarios in order to justify the 6th natural regional park in PACA region: a biodiversity hotspot.

Thanks to the experience it has gained in the test region PNR “Prealpes d’Azur” for the AlpES project, Cerema will reproduce the Prealpes d’Azur approach to the other 5 PNR of the PACA region in 2018.
