The WPT 1 (responsibility of PP University of Lubljana) has been closed. All deliverables have been achieved and the comparison analysis
(see PDF Comparison analysis report in the
menu item “Project Results”, subsection
Work Package WPT 1 of the website) provides a good base for the evaluation report of WPT 3 (responsibility of PP Lombardy Region).

For WPT 2 (responsibility of EURAC) the SGI profiles are ready to work with them.
The activities to create the SGI profiles include:

1) Elaboration of a template to survey existing SGI and socio-economic data in the TAs (test areas).

2) Provide a demographic forecast based on previous demographic changes and the current population status and analyse the population change in the TAs.

3) Design regional profiles of SGI, which are mapped in GIS by es-tablishing the status quo of SGI in the 10 TAs focusing on the accessi-bility and quality of the services in remote areas. Conduct qualitative interviews or workshops to allow to detect the challenges, needs, po-tentials in relation to SGI.

Finally, the foreseen local workshops in the course of WPT 3 are not performed. Instead all partners have agreed to produce videos about the test regions. The first Videos will be presented during the next meeting in Bolzano (South-Tirol)

The 2nd Think-Tank meeting also took place in Lanslebourg.

The aim of the Alpine Think Tank is the exchange of experiences on SGI-provision across the Alps, the identification of upcoming challenges for SGI in the Alps and search for (transnational) solutions, the discussion about policy recommendations and the reflection of the work of INTESI and AG 5 of EUSALP as well as of ssion about policy recommendations and the reflection of the work of INTESI and AG 5 of EUSALP as well as of other initiatives in the field of SGI.
