Governance and Youth in the Alps

  • CaSYPoT Project Conference

    GaYA met with partners of the CaSYPoT project at a conference from 11 to 13 December 2017 in the City of SÅ‚upsk in Poland. The CaSYPoT project focuses on cooperation of different actors: local and regional authorities, universities, NGOs, etc. in the field of youth questions of the Baltic-Sea. The main goal is to improve cross-border cooperation capacity of local ERB actors through creating joint knowledge-based strategic youth policy. 

  • Initiating youth participation

    From September to January, the Governance and Youth in the Alps project (GaYA) initiates participatory processes in 15 different pilot areas - from Kranjska Gora in Slovenia to Chambery in France - to strengthen the participation of young people in local and regional policy and to learn about innovative approaches of participation.

  • Youth at EUSALP Forum

    Voting at age 16, taking young people's voice seriously, setting clear goals for participation processes: A group of active young people from the GaYA project presented their ideas on youth participation in political processes at the Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) in Munich.

  • Three projects awarded at the EUSALP Forum

    On 22 November 2017, the three Alpine Space projects having produced the best project video were awarded in Munich, Germany at the EUSALP Forum.
