BIOTECHNICAL CENTRE  (BC) NAKLO

BC Naklo organized as a center comprising of Secondary School, Higher Vocational College (tertiary level) and Business education center. We offer the following secondary level educational programs: 2-year vocational program: assistants in biotechnology and care, 3-year secondary vocational programs: farmers, gardeners, florists, bakers, confectioners, 4-year professional technical programs: agricultural-entrepreneurial technician, food-processing technician, horticultural technician, nature preservation technician, Biotechnical gymnasium. BC Naklo students live in Alpine region, which means that they begin to obtain MOE knowledge and skills at an early age, at BC Naklo they deepen and expand their knowledge.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ALPINE SCHOOL MODEL

BC Naklo will implement MOE contents into camps, field trips, project days, workshops, sport weekends, project assignments in small groups of students as part of final examination.

TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK

The Triglav National Park Public Institution takes an active part in the activities aimed at ensuring proper understanding and management of the Triglav National Park area as well as care and support to the development activities that will bring the places and organizations in the area the European recognition. Triglav National Park Public Institution is becoming a place where different interests – nature conservation, economic, recreational, social and cultural – meet and interact to fulfill one purpose: to provide for such development of the Julian Alps that will preserve and secure all the functions of the environment for the future generations.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ALPINE SCHOOL MODEL

Education and awareness building play an important role in understanding and respect for the park. TNP's activities in this field are developing educational programs for schools in the park area, developing school programs on national level, providing nature-experiences for school groups etc. Furthermore, we are developing also informal level of education – including different vulnerable target groups in the area of national park.
