Cohesion policy post 2020
Discussions are ongoing about the future of the European Union cohesion policy after the year 2020. The decisions taken in this regard will have an impact on the future of Interreg and the Alpine Space programme.

At the level of the Alpine Space programme, discussions about the future have started as well: The programme has set up a work group with representatives of each partner state, which will steer the programming process towards 2020+. The work group "2020+" met for the first time in October 2018.
