Workshop “Eco-innovation supporting a Green Economy in the Alpine region”

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the German Environment Agency, and the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention together with the Upper Rhine Cluster for Sustainability Research are organising a workshop on “Eco-innovation supporting a Green Economy in the Alpine region”.

The goal of the workshop is to contribute to the preparation of the action programme for a green economy in the Alpine region. It aims at bringing together all committed actors within the Alps in order to discuss:

+ how eco-innovation activities of research institutions, companies, networks and clusters can be organised to foster a green economy in the Alpine region;

+ sectors with successful eco-innovation approaches in the wider Alpine region

+ further needs to support the interplay between science and entrepreneurs and promote transnational Alpine clusters.

The number of participants is limited to 30 persons. The workshop will be held in English and, if required, with translation to French and German.
