AlpGov workshop: “Networking for ecological connectivity and green infrastructure”

Within the framework of the AlpGov project (“Implementing Alpine Governance Mechanisms of the European Strategy for the Alpine Region”), the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature and EUSALP Action Group 7, in cooperation with the Slovenian Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, will organise a workshop on 19 September.

The AlpGov project aims at addressing relevant stakeholders in a strategic way and at involving them in the development of concrete activities and strategic initiatives for the implementation of EUSALP AG7 goals.

The workshop focuses on the theme of ecological connectivity as well as on the identification of ideas and potential partnerships for the implementation of different initiatives. It will also present an opportunity for dialogue between different organisations interested in projects on ecological connectivity, focusing on the east part of the Alpine Region but with open possibilities for the wider EUSALP implementation.

The target audience includes relevant stakeholders from EUSALP and EUSAIR, government organisations, expert and research institutions, development agencies and members of the EUSALP team.
