Public presentation and press conferences of the Alpine Space project AlpFoodway in Slovenia, May 9th-11th

These events will envolve the Slovenian partners of the project: the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU - Znanstvenoraziskovalni center Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti, SI), the Regional Development Agency of Northern Primorska Ltd. Nova Gorica (RRA SEVERNE PRIMORSKE d.o.o. Nova Gorica, SI) and the Development Agency for Upper Gorenjska (Razvojna agencija Zgornje Gorenjske). 

ZRC SAZU is a leading Slovenian research centre in the humanities and a cutting-edge academic institution in Central and Southeast Europe. It has a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary character as approximately 300 researchers and technicians from eighteen institutes conduct their studies in cultural, social and natural fields. Most of institutions have their centres in Ljubljana. Here, Cassiano Luminati (Polo Poschiavo, Lead Partner of AlpFoodway) will present the AlpFoodway project to the Slovenian representatives of the Alpine Convention, EU Strategy for the Alpine Region and Alpine Space Programme. He will also visit the Audiovisual Laboratory and the involved institutes (Institute of the Slovenian Ethnology and Institute of Culture and Memory studies), and hold a working meeting with the ZRC SAZU work team.

The RDA of Northern Primorska Ltd. Nova Gorica was founded with the aim of uniting all local, regional and national potential and implementing nationally and internationally funded development projects. Its purpose is to identify within its environment the needs arising in the economic, social and environmental sectors and to promote the development of the region. On Wednesday 10thh. 10, the Municipality of Nova Gorica will host the Press conference of Alpine Space project AlpFoodway.

The Development Agency for Upper Gorenjska is a public institute which operates mainly in the area of 7 municipalities of Upper Gorenjska in north-western Slovenia. Its mission is to improve the welfare of people living in these areas through development activities. On Thursday 11thh. 11, the Gornjesavski muzej of Jesenice will host the Press conference of AlpFoodway project.
