We cordially invite you to the Alpine Soil Partnership meeting with the title “Natural hazards and soil protection” in Grenoble on 28th March 2018.
The Alpine Soil Partnership is being developed in the Links4Soils project and aims at bringing together soil experts and decision-makers on multiple levels to enhance sustainable soil management in the Alpine area. Exchanging ideas and good practice examples as well as bringing together know-how to the cross-cutting topic of the soil is essential for the future sustainable development.
Natural hazards present a big challenge and will become even more important due to climate change and expanding settlement developments. Soil experts of the French Research Centre IRSTEA in Grenoble and the University of Torino will present approaches and new research results on natural hazards and erosion control.
The Links4Soils project will also provide you with interesting insights on the developing “Alpine Soil Partnership” and will be able to take your viewpoints into consideration. If you support and want to promote the ideas of sustainable soil management you are invited to join the Alpine Soil Partnership as an individual and/or as an institution.
