On 27 February 2018 Milano hosted the 3rd and at the same time the last AlpSib TAB meeting, which aim was to make final conclusions about the transnational methodology for social impact investments, which identifies the common opportunities and challenges for implementing SIBs, especially in the Alpine Space area.
The Milano TAB meeting represented a conclusion of hard work, which started with the meetings with stakeholders on the national level and drafting five national discussion papers and continued with the first two TAB meetings in München and Torino.
The last TAB meeting aimed to validate the final draft version of the methodology, put together by Eckert School, and to discuss how to facilitate the implementation of EU policies on a local/regional level for the take-off of social impact contracting.
The transnational methodology on social impact investments will be finalised in March 2019 and presented to policy makers and public executives in all 5 countries partners to the AlpSib project.
The next day the AlpSIb project was presented during the inauguration of the Lombardia presidency to the EUSALP.
