The Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences organised a public Campus Day on Friday, 24 May. During the Open Day, all interested parties could inform themselves about the study and further education offers and gain insights into the teaching and research spectrum of the university. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., students and lecturers presented their projects, guided through the laboratories and answered all questions about studying. The programme included numerous lectures, exciting demonstrations and experiments, as well as information stands on the various service facilities of the university.

The EU-Interreg project "AlpBioEco" was represented with a stand. Audrey Leclerc and Heidi Brandauer from the AlpBioEco team answered questions about the project with a special focus on walnuts. In addition, the visitors could try out a walnut cracking machine and win great prizes in the Walnut Collection Competition with the "Rollblitz".
