France was ready to welcome an intense and interesting meeting of the Cheers project. Unfortunately Covid-19 has reduced the possibility of meeting in person and in recent months we have been more or less used to these new forms of gatherings.

Our fifth meeting will therefore take place ONLINE on 29 and 30 June, both days from 9 to 17 with breaks that will separate the different work sessions.

The results achieved so far by the project and ongoing activities will be discussed.

The morning sessions on June 29 are reserved for project partners.
Stakeholders, observers and other interested parties are invited to participate from June 29 afternoon.

On the first day, attention will be focused on the results achieved so far and in particular on the methodology for evaluating cultural heritage (ATTACH tool) and on the results of its application in the pilot areas (read more here).
The next day, the morning will be dedicated to the progress of the project on methodologies for identifying the exposure of cultural heritage to risks and on approaches and techniques for the protection of cultural heritage. In the afternoon a session will focus on the topic of emergency planning and rescue.

A final round table will gather opinions and feedback from observers and stakeholders.

Anyone interested in attending the meeting can write to cheers@flanet.org to ask for the link to attend the meeting.
