AlpBioEco just published its final report! The final report summarises all the project results gained in the last three years, as the AlpBioEco project is now coming towards an end. It presents the project journey and gives an overview about all activities and results developed during the project phase.
Next to detailed information about the three value chains tackled within the project – apples, walnuts, and herbs – their bioeconomic potential in the Alpine Space and several business models are presented. Here, a focus is also put on regional examples and anecdotes of the project, in order to show how diverse AlpBioEco is and how it actually influenced regional businesses! Also, the contribution of all the different project partners of AlpBioEco, from five Alpine countries, is presented.
Another important topic of the final report is the policy and transfer guidelines, which make the results of AlpBioEco easily transferable to other regions and projects. In an overall conclusion, the discovered hurdles and chances of bioeconomy in the Alpine Space are once more evaluated.
