DG Environment and Climate - REGLOM - is the central government on the level of the Lombardy Region with core competencies - among others - in biodiversity, waste and circular economy, environmental impact assessment and permitting, sustainable development, air quality, soil remediation, energy transition and climate change. Furthermore, the DG has overall responsibility in coordinating ETC Alpine Space Programme 2014-2020 (National Coordination of Italy), represents Lombardy in the EUSALP Executive Board, participates to the national coordination and co-lead the Italian Presidency 2019, as well as leads the Action Group 1.

National Agency for Territorial Cohesion

National Agency for Territorial Cohesion - ANCT - belongs to the French Ministry for Territorial Cohesion and Relationship with local authorities. In these regards, it designs and coordinates the implementation policies dealing with mountainous issues and territories. ANCT carries out national coordination of all French stakeholders in EUSALP. ANCT will deliver general and collective communication activities of EUSALP in the frame of AlpGov 2 Work Package of Communication - WPC. It also implies that ANCT will coordinate all communication activities, including the ones carried out directly by the other AlpGov 2 partners.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region - AURA - has economic policies targeted on strategic alpine sectors, with the implementation of a specific ERDF program dedicated to the French alpine regions.The AURA Region is thus experienced in leading programs going beyond its borders and tightly linked with alpine issues, in which private and public stakeholder can identify common assets and meet common challenges. AURA will lead Action Group 2, with special focus on alpine key economic sectors and will support action group members in their activities. AURA will be involved in all WPs. A new AG2 co-leader could join EUSALP in the future to share the AG coordination activity, in case a procedure to involve it in the project implementation will be requested.

Autonomous Province of Trento

Autonomous Province of Trento - PAT - is the regional authority in charge of the definition and the implementation of labour market policies, apprenticeship, support for employment and other issues related to the labour market. PAT is also responsible and in charge of, as an exclusive competence, the educational sector at pre school level and training and has shared competences in primary and secondary education. The PAT will collaborate and contribute to all WPs of the AlpGov2 Project. In particular it will organize the AG3 meetings, events and workshops and share the results with the other AGs in a coordinated framework.

Office of the Tyrolean Government - Department of Transport Planning

Role: Project Partner
Country: Austria

Department of transport planning - AdTL - is in charge of all matters regarding transport planning in public, private, passenger and freight transport throughout Tyrol. Because of its geographic position in the heart of the Alps and its location at cross-border transit routes, the department of transport planning has a lot of experience in transnational cooperation, most prominently in the frame of the European Region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino. As AG4 co-leader, the AdTL contributes to the EGTC’s aims of territorial development with a special focus on cooperation for sustainable mobility.

Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region

Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region - PACA - is a regional authority, i.e. a legal person governed by public law other than the State, entrusted with a mission of general interest concerning the region, understood as a territory. The Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region is endowed with powers and competences mainly concerning regional planning, economic development, education, vocational training and transport. PACA Region participate in all WPs, supporting AGLs by developing a long-term transfer plan for capitalisation of projects results including suitable transfer processes, based on the experiences from Panoramed. PACA Region has joined the AG4 Lead Team.

Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta - RAVA - is competent over the regional territory for the designing, coordinating and controlling the information systems life cycle, of the regional web sites and information technologies; projecting, updating e disseminating the operational models for the realisation and the maintenance of the regional information system and connected technological infrastructures; defining the technical-economic programming of the regional information system and the connected technological infrastructures; implementing the Broadband and Ultra Broadband infrastructure in Valle d’Aosta. As AG5 Co-Leader, RAVA participates to the development of EUSALP for the connectivity, digitalisation and accessibility to services of general interest. It contributes to all WP and supports AGLs for the cross-cutting issues

Swiss Centre for mountain regions

Swiss Centre for mountain regions - SAB - is the lobbying organisation for mountain regions in Switzerland. SAB actively influences the policy making process in Switzerland by working closely with the Federal Parliament and Administration. SAB is also providing counselling services to mountain stakeholders within Switzerland. Its membership consists of the cantons, regions, municipalities as well as many different organisations and individual members. SAB is a founding member of Euromontana, was for many years observer at the Alpine Convention, was implied in the build-up of EUSALP from the beginning, is Co-Leader of AG5 of EUSALP. SAB will take over the responsibility for WPT-3. The participation in this project will support SAB in it’s role of Co-Leader of AG5 and as chair of the Alpine Think Tank on SGI.

Regional Government of Carinthia

Regional Government of CarinthiaAKL - as a regional authority is responsible for the implementation and development of policies in the field of sustainability and nature resource protection with an yearly experience in cooperation. The coordination of a shared approach to cross-cutting policies in the Alpine area is crucial also for the definition of the EU policies with a territorial development perspective that AKL and the alpine regions together promote. AKL leads the AG6 which take care of coordination for the themes protecting natural and cultural resources together with the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention. AKL Support to the AGLs for the cross-cutting issues.

Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention

Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention - PSAC - is  the executive body of the Alpine Convention which is an international legally binding treaty between the Alpine Countries as well as the EU, dedicated to the sustainable development and protection of the Alps. It offers a professional, logistic, administrative help and assists the countries in carrying out the actions, required by the Convention and its Protocols. PSAC will act as a project partner, representing the co-lead of Action Group 6. In addition to the implementation of the AG6 work plan the PSAC will carry out the Road Show as coordinative task within WP Communication.

Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation

Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation - ZRSVN - with its seven regional units (together they cover the entire territory of Slovenia) is a professional public institution responsible for nature conservation with its main tasks/activities set by the Nature Conservation Act. Institute is involved in policy- and decision-making processes from national to local level. ZRSVN will give input to all WP. In co-leading will organise AG7 meetings and give input at joint meetings of AGs for the cross-thematic and strategic initiatives and support for enhancing cross MRS cooperation.

Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection

Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection - StMUV - is the central government on the level of the Bavarian region with core competencies in water management, risk prevention, soil protection, nature protection and climate change. Furthermore, the Ministry has overall responsibility in coordinating ETC Alpine Space Programme 2014-2020 (National Coordination of Germany), EUSALP (national coordinator, membership in General Assembly, Executive Board as well as Action Group Co-Leadership 7 and 8) and Alpine Convention (Bavarian Focal Point). Not least, StMUV initiated discussion on EUSALP on political level in 2010. StMUV takes the role of the leadership of WP T1 and is involved in the capacity of co-leadership for Action Group 7 and 8.

Federal Ministry for Sustainability and TourismBMNT - is a central government body in Austria that has core competences in risk and climate change management, including risk prevention and adaption to climate change. BMNT is also responsible for the mitigation of natural hazards as well as for the adaption to climate change including all relevant environmental issues. BMNT is co-lead of EUSALP AG 8 and strongly contributes to the implementation of the macro-regional strategy.

Agency for Energy South Tyrol - CasaClima

Agenzia per l’Energia Alto Adige - CasaClima - ACC - is an instrumental body of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano - South Tyrol, Italy, and since 2016 leader of EUSALP Action Group 9. The institutional focus of ACC is the implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate protection policies laid down by the regional Energy Strategy “KLIMAPLAN South Tyrol 2050”.  As leader of EUSALP AG9 (shared with PP AURA-EE), ACC is in charge of organizing and coordinating regular AG meetings and workshops related to the working agenda of EUSALP AG9 and participate in Board of AG Leaders -BAGL- meetings.

Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Energy Environment Agency - AURA EE - is the energy and environment agency of the AURA Region. The Agency supports the regional and local public authorities as well as project developers in their development and implementation of sustainable energy policies and projects. Over the last 40 years, AURA-EE has developed a strong expertise in energy and climate protection planning and implementation measures, circular economy and sustainable development. AURA EE has coordinated the preparation activities of the AlpGov 2 WP T3 on policy recommendations. AURA EE will be involved in the implementation of the project activities in coordination with ACC, the other AG9 co-leader as well as the AURA Region.
