  • Craftsmen exhibition in Bezau

    From August 14th to 18th, 2019, the 10th craftsmen exhibition of the Bregenzerwald took place at the business school in Bezau. 115 exhibitors showed their craft through elaborate and beautifully designed stalls placed in the classrooms or in the outdoor area of ​​the school, which were unrecognisable.

    100 craftsmen and a lot of partners will present what they are creating with love for materials, creativity, innovation and passion.
    ATLAS has its own room showing 12 fascinating renovations.

  • Solar envelopes, between alteration and coexistence in the balance of places

    On 5 July 2019, the sustainability institute applied to the built environment of SUPSI, with support from the Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and EnergieSchweiz, in collaboration with the magazine Hochparterre, carried out an event on solar energy. The main subjects of the event open to the public were the integration of solar energy in historic buildings, energy recovery and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in architecture.

  • Work table for the construction of a solar plant in a Historic Church

    SUPSI participates in an information session and work table to discuss the possibility of integrating a solar plant in a historic church near Lugano (CH).
    The experiences with the development of this pioneering project in Ticino for the retrofit of historic buildings could be shared by SUPSI within the ATLAS project if and when the project will go on.

    On the 5th of July 2019, SUPSI - partner of the ATLAS project - organises a special event concerning solar integration on historic building and the energy refurbishment of the existing building stock by using Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in architecture.
