D.T1.1.1. -  CARE4TECH Knowledge Mapping & Classification Methodology on Smart Living Excellences

This deliverable is divided into four chapters and its structure is dedicated to provide a common strategy for collecting data of stakeholder institutions to identify and classify tech leaders, solutions, innovation & business development approaches in the field of Smart Living.

The first section deals with defining the purpose of the document and stating its connection to the consecutive Work Packages 2 and 3. It also includes the claimed partner contribution to create an extended knowledge base on Smart Living excellence.

D.T1.2.1. -  CARE4TECH Smart Living Knowledge Mapping Activity in the AS area

This deliverable is a summary explaining deliverable 1.2.1. The purpose is to explain the tool and how it will support the project achievements.

We are describing the Tool itself, the connections to other activities and workpackages, the structure and the entities of the tool, technical specifications, data security, design and usability and the sustainability of the visual matrix.

D.T1.2.2. -  CARE4TECH Visual Matrix on  Smart Living Excellence ‐ State  of the art of AS policies

The Alpine Space arena is becoming a leading destination for technology providers in the area of Smart Living (SL), but  is hindered by fragmentation in the research and innovation landscape, which prevents the transnational region from  becoming the center of European excellence. CARE4TECH looks to bridge the gap in this fragmented landscape, by  generating a coordinated approach to Smart Living technology development. CARE4TECH focuses on creating and  maintaining strong ties between quadruple‐helix actors; what this means in practice is creating structures that  improve the communication and transparency between research institutions, businesses, government, and civil  society as a whole. By improving these ties, the project aims to align policy development with real civil and market  drivers.

D.T1.3.1. -  CARE4TECH Leading Alliances on Smart Living: Checklist

MAIN PROJECT RESULTS ARE:

• Alpine Space KNOWLEDGE ATLAS - Map of leading cases and approaches classified in a Knowledge Atlas,

• Alpine Space ALLIANCES - Thematic excellences grouped to cooperate,

• Alpine Space TASK FORCES and ALPINE CAMPUS- Supported by quadruple helix based teams to jointly learn and innovate through a living lab based learning system and

• Alpine Space THINK TANK - Set up of a permanent policy and stakeholder’s platform linked to EU initiatives to fully exploit outputs and their technological strategic potential.

D.T1.3.2 -  CARE4TECH Landscape of potential Leading Alliances on Smart Living: AS Knowledge Atlas Relation Management Tool

The purpose of this document is to provide the CARE4TECH Project Partners with a guide on the initial Alliance development activity and how to exploit the “Trello Board” to support the description and the implementation of the specific Thematic Alliances to each topic generated from the Visual Matrix’s visualization.

D.T1.4.2 -  Report - AS Knowledge Atlas Learning & Mentoring

The purpose of this document is to report the learning process and outcomes of the first technical work package (WP T1) which will lead to a strong base for Living & Innovation Labs in the next work packages. To champion and support the development of Smart Living topics, collective learning and collaborative management methodologies were applied.

D.T1.5.1 - Impact Controlling System Tool and Knowledge Atlas Report

The impact controlling system was prepared across two deliverables in Activity A.T1.5. The goal of the early stages of the impact controlling activities was to:

1) Identify peer reviewers among target group & stakeholders replicating the quadruple helix scheme;

2) Define and share distributed contributions & assessment procedures for deliverable

3) Define impact controlling system for AS Knowledge Atlas

4) Deliver a cooperation tool for distributed assessment and impact controlling among partners/ peers and Alliances.

D.T1.5.2 -  AS Knowledge Atlas Monitoring & Impact Assessment Report

The qualitative and quantitative review measures for CARE4TECH in Work Package One have shown that impact has been made regarding the generation of connections and potential cooperation between Alpine Space quadruple-helix actors.  Some of these connections have been established directly through interaction during the WPT1 activities, such as the peer review interview, the training session, introconferences and the policy maker interviews.

D.T2.1.2 CARE4TECH Smart Living Alliances: roadmaps for future excellence in technology and innovation

The purpose of this document is to provide a common strategy for defining specific roadmaps for future excellence in technology and innovation. It describes how to move from leading cases and approaches described in T1 to concrete regional and transnational applications.

To this end, it provides theoretical background as well as practical examples, and a clear roadmap development methodology including a template to specify individual action plans.

D.T2.3.1 CARE4TECH Smart Living Alliances New Members Motivation & Information Events

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance on how to carry out the activity of organizing an event to present AS Alliances, and inform and attract interested stakeholders. It serves to develop further Alliances on Smart Living that began to form during T1.

It describes the purpose of the activity, its connection to other work packages and a methodology for its implementation.

D.T2.2.2 Living & Innovation Lab IT Cooperation Tool

The purpose of this document is to provide a handbook identifying a set of IT tools supporting the partner group to meet its aims and objectives. It explains the purpose of the defined collection of tools, their functionality and their usage.

The defined set of Living and Innovation Lab IT tools has been integrated into the project Toolbox Ecosystem in order to create the most valuable support in joint project planning and network management.
