  • Electric local public transport buses experience in Piedmont Region, Italy

    In 2013, the Piedmont Region has co-financed 90% of a first purchase of full electric buses to be dedicated to the urban LPT in order to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of this type of vehicles on city networks. The first results are presented below.

  • EIB Financing for the decarbonisation of Klagenfurt's public transport

    The City of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee plans to introduce zero emission buses in its public transportation system. It will also seeks to implement measures to further enhance the public transport quality and reliability with a combination of public transport management  and control systems and an easier access to sustainable and emission free mobility modes.

    For this, the City of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee has been awarded funds by the European Investment Bank to carry out a project on the preparation for the decarbonisation and other energy efficiency and reliability improvement measures of the City’s public transport.

  • CRISTAL, the little French shuttle that grows big

    LOHR Industrie is a French automotive company located in Hangenbieten, near Strasbourg. In 2020, they launched the commercialisation of the shuttle “Cristal” for a shared, sustainable, and smart mobility in cities. This shuttle, having a footprint identical to that of a Renault Clio, can be used to complete the local offer of public transport.

  • New German National Center for Charging Infrastructure established

    The Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Andreas Scheuer, launched the new German national control center for charging infrastructure in Oktober 2020. Read more about its objectives and tools.

  • Results of e-SMART's first Transnational Living Lab

    On 23rd September 2020 e-SMART project partners launched the First Transnational Living Lab meeting on integrated planning for electric mobility, devoted to create the coordination between planning tools for electric mobility in the Alpine Space. The stakeholders expressed their strong involvement. It was a great success!
