The second Smart Altitude project meeting took place on 22 and 23 May in Slovenia at a very fitting location, namely at Ski Resort Krvavec, which is one of the three Living Labs in the project.

Overall, the second project meeting showed that the project is shaping up well with some first preliminary results already available.  All project partners took home constructive feedback and clearer ideas of where the project is heading and what needs to be done in the upcoming period.

  • 1st OCOVA meeting in Asia

On 13 December, 2018 was held the first Asian OCOVA meeting in Gangneung, South Korea. OCOVA is an annual forum focused on smart mountain that was created in the Hautes-Alpes, France, in 2004 by Pierre Vollaire, current mayor of Les Orres. For the first time, a mirror OCOVA event was organized in Gangwon-Do by our friends from CSIPA, with support from the OCOVA forum team in Les Orres. It was a great opportunity to present the Smart Altitude project to an international audience of 200 representatives from territory authorities, reseach labs, development agencies, SMEs and the big industry.
