Virtual site visit in Tržič (SLO pilot)
On the 18th and 19th June the trAILs team met online to join “virtually” the site visit of the Slovenian pilot site, the former BPT textile mill in Tržič. On the first day, the site and the region were briefly presented to the team by representatives of the regional partner BSC Kranj. A detailed tour of the site and surroundings was then provided through a 15’ video, which included interviews to local stakeholders and community members involved in the site transformation. On the second day, the partners had the chance to discuss with the following stakeholders (Mr. Klemen Srna – Head of the Economic and Social Affairs at Municipality Tržič, Mrs. Damjana Habjan - representative of the owner and Mrs. Jana Babšek – Director of the Tržič Museum), to whom several questions on the site current situation and future challenges were addressed. Besides, the partners also discussed internally the status of the main work packages and current activities. The test-design workshop (online) is foreseen for 14th and 15th September.
