The Piemonte Region, in the framework of the best practices exchange programme foreseen by PEACE_Alps project, has organized a series of meetings with two energy agencies very active in the area of the Alpine Space: IRE Liguria and APRIE Province of Trento. The meetings were held between April and June 2018, in Genoa, Turin and Trento.
Each of them was focused on one of the specific topics of PEACE_Alps: energy management in local administrations, energy refurbishment of public buildings and lightings and adaptation to climate change. The main goal of this exchange programme is the warding of indications, proposals, solutions in order to establish an energy strategy inside the alpine area.
Partners presented the coordination and technical support work they offer to municipalities of their territory in relation to each topic and main critical issues associated to the supply of centralized services have been pointed out. The guiding issue has been: how is it possible to guarantee durability and replicability even without having European financing. Thanks to specifics working groups some solutions have been proposed and included in the recommendations document which will be presented during the final conference of PEACE_Alps project the 11th of October in Bolzano (Italy).
