Description
The HACK-IT-NET project – Enabling an Alpine region Health and Care Knowledge and Innovation Transfer NETwork is organising, in collaboration with BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH, the workshop “Future Health, Shared Solutions: From Challenges to Change.”
Dates: 1–2 December 2025
Time: Day 1 / 1.12.25 (09:30–12:30) | Day 2 / 2.12.25 (13:00–16:00)
Participation: Free of charge
Registration: Open until Wednesday, 26 November 2025 ON THE FOLLOWING LINK (After registration, you will receive all further information and preparatory material by e-mail).
Workshop goals
The event aims to tackle three priority themes in the field of health and care in the Alpine region and beyond, fully aligned with the HACK-IT-NET mission:
Advancing towards green and digital hospitals (“green & e-hospitals”)
Improving service delivery at a systemic level
Strengthening customised technology transfer
During the workshop, participants – cross-sector and transnational stakeholders – will work in interdisciplinary teams (health professionals, researchers, public administration, and innovators) to turn ideas into concrete, need-driven solutions.
Why participate?
Get the chance to apply the methods and results developed within HACK-IT-NET to your own context.
Expand your transnational network in the health and care sector by collaborating with experts and institutions across Alpine regions.
Shape the project’s thematic priorities by contributing your experience and perspective.
Programme
In the workshop, you will join a team working on a topic of your choice and work together to develop solutions for a specific challenge.
Day 1 | Problem definition
>> You will focus on a clear, specific challenge within your chosen topic.
Day 1 & Day 2 | Finding solutions
>> You will develop and iterate your solutions in a small, interdisciplinary team.
Day 2 | Selection and presentation
>> You will refine and present the leading concepts and work together to identify the strongest solutions.
Relevance for the Alpine Region
As part of the HACK-IT-NET project (co-funded by the European Union), this workshop represents a valuable opportunity for innovation challenges, knowledge transfer, and cross-border collaboration in the health and care sector across the Alpine macro-region. By contributing to this event, participants help strengthen regional capacities and move towards a more innovative, sustainable, and resilient health system. We warmly invite all stakeholders – healthcare institutions, service providers, health tech start-ups, universities, and policy makers – to participate and actively contribute to shaping the future of health and care in the Alpine Region.
