Clap de début pour Interreg 21-27 en France !
On 9 June, the ANCT and Région Sud organised in Marseille the French National Kick-off day of Interreg2127, “Intensifions la coopération entre les territoires”.
Our Project Officer Alexis Truchet attended the event, which was the opportunity to discuss and debate about the different Interreg funding opportunities for French players.
- Speakers and participants highlighted the importance of cooperation between territories and bringing Europe closer to its citizens.
- Jean-Pierre Halkin, Interreg Head of Unit at DG REGIO, emphasized that the uniqueness of the Alpine Space programme is “its capacity to accelerate innovation in bringing together experts to identify and develop smart practices for capacity-building” at transnational level.
- EUSALP, supported by the ASP, was also mentioned as the relevant level of governance to get closer to the citizens living in a coherent geographical area.
Key takeway: the results of Alpine Space projects should inspire other territories!
