CESBA Alps project partner Regio-V (AT) is going to participate in the international event "Summer School for Energy Change Agents" in Friedrichshafen at the Lake of Constance. Regio-V will present the CESBA Alps online-tool to the participants and contribute by providing a study case.
Based on the study case in the pilot region Leiblachtal in Vorarlberg, Austria, the participants will discuss if the CESBA Alps online-tool can become the standard tool on European level for the continuous improval process towards energy transition. They will explore which legal and organisational framework is needed to make this happen. The outcomes of the Summer School will be a mutual benefit both for the participants and for the CESBA Alps project in Vorarlberg and alpine-wide.
The Summer School is an event for students, activists, civil actors and representatives from politics to create new insights and knowledge. Local experience knowledge combined with social science, technical and economic knowledge will lead to new approaches. The results should be directly applied in practice.
By picking up the energy transition topic, the Summer School contributes to one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: The transformation of energy culture towards a better sustainability. It takes place from 4 to 8 June 2018.
