AlpLinkBioEco scope and actions presented today at the EUSALP Italian Presidency 2019 two-days event in Milan, focused on sustainable growth and circular economy in the Alpine area.

3 Jul 2019 - 4 Jul 2019 | Milan, Italy was the title of the event, attended by several stakeholders and policy makers of the Eusalp regions.

Michael Kaspar Keller as one of the discussants, on behalf of the AlpLinkBioEco partnership, described the challenges and potentials of the interregional approach, in trying to set up new industrial bio-based linkages.

Some examples were given on how new industrial value chains for a bio-based circular economy in sectors such as agriculture, wood, chemicals and food/pharma packaging can come out by working together cross-regionally, industry and research.
