TIGER Project Launches Strategic Framework for Alpine eHealth Innovation at First Partner Meeting

During the intensive working session, partners defined key components of the project’s infrastructure, including the development of a comprehensive website designed to serve as a one-stop shop for eHealth innovators. This digital platform will function as the primary contact point, guiding innovators through available services while ensuring responsive support at every step of their journey.

A cornerstone of TIGER’s approach is the creation of an expert pool comprising at least thirty professionals from across and beyond the Alpine region. These experts will provide specialized knowledge in various aspects of eHealth innovation, with a particular focus on solutions for remote senior healthcare. Selected experts will participate in knowledge exchange workshops and provide direct support to innovators.

The Ljubljana meeting also featured intensive workshops to define six core services that TIGER will offer to eHealth innovators:

  1. Expert Assessment
  1. Platform Services
  1. Market Entry Accelerator
  1. Market Access Strategy for Mature Technologies
  1. Hackathon Support
  1. Product Validation in Target Environment

These services have been designed to bridge the gap from concept to market success, with special attention to the unique challenges faced by eHealth innovators in the Alpine space.

The TIGER consortium brings together eleven organizations with complementary expertise: Internationalisation Centre of Styria (ICS), Human.technology Styria (HTS), Geriatric Health Centers of the City of Graz (GGZ), Innovation and Business Incubator Nürnberg-Fürth-Erlangen (IGZ), Technical University of Applied Sciences (OTH), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nice Côte d’Azur (CCI NCA), EUROBIOMED, Upper Adriatic Technology Park (PoloAA), Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (UNIV), Technology Park Ljubljana (TPLJ), and Institute for Research, Training and Consulting in Public Health & Digital Health (IZRIIS).
