As a part of the EUSALP Annual Forum 2025 within the LIE/AT presidency the workshop “Shaping the Future: Building a Circular Economy Roadmap for the Alpine Region” took place on 26.11.2025 in Innsbruck.
The session brought together Alpine regions, project partners, youth representatives, researchers, business support organisations and civil society to accelerate circular solutions across key sectors — construction, textiles and agrifood.
As the BAUHALPS project we are proud to have a chance to present the project’s objectives and the progress of setting a new benchmark for circular construction and renovation in the Alpine Space rooted in the spirit of the New European Bauhaus. The BAUHALPS integrates cultural identity, community building, circular economy of the building sector of the Alpine region to help shape the upcoming EUSALP Circular Economy Roadmap.

The workshop also featured contributions from:
- Christina Bauer – Land Salzburg
- Elodie Laleous – Techtera / AlpTextyle
- Antonio Sellitri – FCF / BAUHALPS
- Darja Kukovič – ITC MS (presented by Majda Potokar from Technology Park Ljubljana)
- Sylvain Guetaz & Massimo Lapolla – EUSALP Action Group 2/Cross-cutting priority 4# on circular economy (CCP4)
- The EUSALP Youth Council representative
Together, we explored how digitalisation, education, legal framework, cross-border cooperation and financial support can drive a circular Alpine future.
We thank the organisers of the workshop for invitation to the workshop and to have a chance to contribute to the EUSALP circular economy roadmap for a more resilient and circular Alpine region!
