🚀 DiMark Project Update: 4th Project Partner Meeting

Jan 30, 2026

On Wednesday, 28 January, the 4th project partner meeting of the DiMark project successfully took place!

During the meeting, project partners reviewed the progress of ongoing activities and defined key goals for the second half of the project.

While the project faces challenges related to the collection and processing of large volumes of data, the consortium is making strong progress. Work is well underway on two important DiMark outputs:

  • a visualization tool with maps, which will be integrated into the Alplakes platform (https://www.alplakes.eawag.ch/), and

  • a cyano-risk predictive model designed to support a wide range of stakeholders across the Alpine region. 🏞

These tools will significantly improve access to satellite-based lake monitoring data and support evidence-based decision-making!
