
On the 21st of May, Politecnico di Torino organised a national seminar for the GovQoL project with the participation of the local actors in the Italian Alpine context!
The seminar started with Andrea Bocco’s, Head of the inter-university Department of the Regional and Development Studies and Urban Planning, presentation and introduction about the University and followed by Erblin Berisha’s presentation about the Project of GOVQoL.
Afterwards,
📍 Roberto Colombero, the President of UNCEM, presented their findings about the challenges and the opportunities of living in Italian Alps, and it is followed by
📍Carolina Grossetti’s presentation about the projects that have been conducted by Foundation of Compagnia di San Paolo in the region.
After these presentations, Politecnico di Torino’s contribution to the project was shared:
📍Erblin Berisha, with the contribution from Michela Speziose, France Aprone (Municipality of Ala), and Luca Pinnavaia, presented the Roadmap suggested for Municipality of Ala,
📍 Donato Casavola, with the contribution from Magda Bolzoni and Elisabetta Vitale Brovatone, presented the Roadmap suggested for Lanzo Torinese,
➡️ The conclusion of the seminar was that there is a strong need for good policies and strong community engagement for leveling up the level of quality of life in the Italian Alps.
This conference was organised in the framework of the GOVQoL project funded by the European Interreg Alpine Space programme.
