Two of our projects co-financed in 2014-2020 finished at the end of September!

As water scarcity is becoming a concern in the Alps, our project ADO set up a drought observatory based on a combination of meteorological information, hydrological indices and data, including figures on snow cover and soil moisture. Alpine local and regional governments could benefit from this approach, as they improved the efficiency of their drought management and their ability to face related risks.

Our project LinkingAlps created an Alpine-wide standardised exchange service of travel information to tackle the difficulties of finding the transport options available in each country when planning a journey across borders. Thanks to this service, it is now possible to compile the information provided by the individual information systems into a continuous travel chain. This way, people can access all travel information through their usual transport information portal.
