Description
Our project partner Innovation Salzburg is organising the annual symposium Hotspot Alpine Building – Rethinking Construction: Innovative, Circular, Digital.

This year’s symposium will focus on innovative approaches to alpine construction, highlighting circular economy principles and digital transformation in the building sector. The programme features expert contributions, including Gregor Mljač (MAO, Slovenia), who will present the Slovenian Bauhalps pilot project, and Julie Paciello (Cerema – Cité des mobilités, France).

In addition, on the same day and at the same venue, the workshop “Full Circle: From Lessons Learned to Future Possibilities – Circular Economy and Interreg” will take place within the framework of the Austrian-Liechtenstein EUSALP Presidency. This workshop, organised by Interact in cooperation with Innovation Salzburg, will bring together practitioners from across Europe to exchange best practices and discuss future perspectives on circular economy.

Participants are also invited to join the event “Circular Solutions in Textile & Food: Bridging Sectors, Borders and Strategies”, organised by three Interreg projects on the following day in Salzburg.

Together, these events offer a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, foster cross-border cooperation, and strengthen innovation in the Alpine construction and circular economy sectors.
