On 22 October 2025, representatives of the BAUHALPS project will take part in the international workshop “Full Circle: From Lessons Learned to Future Possibilities – Circular Economy and Interreg”, organised by INTERACT in cooperation with the Austrian–Liechtenstein EUSALP Co-Presidency and Innovation Salzburg.
The event is part of a series of EUSALP and Interreg activities dedicated to sharing experiences, tools, and future perspectives in the field of circular economy. It brings together projects and programmes from across Europe to discuss how territorial cooperation contributes to a cleaner, more competitive, and circular European economy.
As Lead Partner of the BAUHALPS project, Prof. Fabrizio Panozzo and Silvia M. Carolo (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice) will represent the partnership at this event, where BAUHALPS will be showcased among selected Interreg projects as an example of innovative solutions for circularity in the Alpine building sector.
The workshop will feature contributions from several Interreg projects, including FOODIS, Open Circular, Co-Effect, CEFoodCycle, BAUHALPS, TEX-DAN, and Ce4Re, offering participants a space for exchange, peer learning, and cross-border cooperation.
The “Full Circle” workshop takes place in conjunction with the Hotspot Alpine Building – Rethinking Construction: Innovative, Circular, Digital symposium, organised by Innovation Salzburg, where BAUHALPS partners will also contribute through presentations and discussions on innovative approaches to circular and digital Alpine construction.
Together, these two events provide a unique opportunity to highlight the outcomes of the BAUHALPS project, strengthen cooperation among Alpine regions, and foster dialogue on the future of sustainable and circular construction in the Alps.
Participants are also invited to the Circular Solutions in Textile & Food workshop organised by three Interreg programmes on 23 October.
