Workshop: Social Media and Storytelling

12 May 2026 | Online | 14.30 – 16.30

This training is dedicated to project communication managers. It is envisioned to equip them with practical skills to turn project outputs, activities and deliverables into social media posts that reach the right audience.

Topics will include defining your audience, building a story around one concrete project output, writing in plain language, choosing the right social media platform, and a hands-on drafting session on your own project material.

During this webinar, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make storytelling work for social media, and leave with a drafted post for one of your real project outputs plus two reusable checklists.

How to prepare

To get the most out of this training session, please come prepared:

  • Pick one specific project output, activity or deliverable you need to communicate in the next two months (not the whole project).
  • Bring any text, photos or video you already have for it.
  • Decide which one social media platform you want the post to land on.

A collaborative workspace will be shared with participants at the start of the session.
