From pilots to production: intelligent, scalable and human-centric AI
The event will demonstrate how artificial intelligence, supported by high-performance computing and supercomputing infrastructure, is already being successfully deployed in real industrial and business environments. The focus will be on practical implementation — how organizations move from ideas and pilots to robust, production-ready AI solutions.
Slovenia has built strong competencies across the AI value chain — from research and advanced computing infrastructure to concrete industrial applications. These competencies form the foundation of the event programme, which combines expert insights, real-world use cases, practical demonstrations and structured discussions.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of:
- how AI solutions are designed, tested and scaled in real environments,
- which implementation challenges typically arise and how they can be addressed,
- which AI trends will genuinely shape business and industry in the coming years.
A dedicated session will present the Slovenian Artificial Intelligence Factory (SLAIF) and show how developers, startups and companies can use supercomputing resources to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions.
In addition, the event will introduce opportunities to participate in pilot initiatives supporting the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, with a focus on human-centric, sustainable and resilient production and business models.
The RECENTRE project will be presented as an integral part of the programme. The session will focus on concrete opportunities for SMEs within the RECENTRE framework, with particular emphasis on the open call for transition plans and financial support.
