Description
In this compact workshop, you will learn how the Digital Product Passport (DPP) contributes to establishing a genuine circular economy in the sports and outdoor sector and what added value the DPP has for your company.
The half-day workshop will be conducted by ECHO PRM, a very active player in this field. In addition to a keynote speech on the digital product passport based on the EU Ecodesign Regulation, there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and practical exercises.
Date: Thursday, April 23, 2026
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Standortagentur Tirol, Ing.-Etzel-Straße 17, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria
Link: Registration
Programm
Exchange of experiences on the digital product passport
Some participants already have a fair amount of experience, while others still need support. In order to be able to respond to all concerns effectively, we assess the current level of knowledge. There is also an opportunity to exchange experiences.
Keynote speech
on the digital product passport, which is based on EU Ecodesign Regulation 2024/1781
Practical part
Participants first identify possible data points for the Digital Product Passport (DPP), both potentially mandatory and voluntary. Based on this collection, a concrete, exemplary product passport is then created using a potential software solution for the DPP.
Either a fictional brand or a real product provided by the participants can be used for the creation. Anyone who would like to develop an exemplary digital product passport for their own product can bring the product and relevant data with them.
Target group
Manufacturers and brand owners of outdoor clothing and footwear, sports retailers, (senior) employees in sports retail who are responsible for digitalization, supply chains, and sustainability, service providers for rental, repair, and reuse, collectors and recyclers, as well as interested parties from the fields of alpine outdoor sports, digitalization, and circular and waste management.
Costs
The webinar is co-financed by the EU through the Interreg Alpine Space Project ASTER and can therefore be offered to you free of charge.
Registration
Participation is only possible after prior online registration.
