The programme will be held at two venues:
- The campus of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Emmenbrücke, and
- the open-air setting of Inseli Park in Lucerne.
The Info Day brings together stakeholders from across the construction and architecture community, including SMEs, public authorities, interest groups, and the general public. A special focus will also be placed on education: more than 100 students and apprentices will take part in the event, presenting their work as part of a public final review (öffentliche Schlusskritik), a key pedagogical format in architecture education.
Throughout the day, participants will visit and discuss three real-scale timber structures, designed and built with circular principles in mind:
- 10:30 – Presentation of the Rondell structure, Emmenbrück
- 14:00 – Presentation of the Temporary Use structure, Inseli Park, Lucerne
- 15:30 – Presentation of the second Temporary Use structure, Inseli Park, Lucerne
- 17:00 – Aperitif and informal gathering at Inseli Park
This event will highlight key developments of the Swiss pilot and create space for dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration across sectors working toward sustainable and regionally adapted construction practices in the Alpine region.
We warmly invite all interested professionals, students, and members of the community to join us for this inspiring day of exchange and innovation.
