Description
The Swiss Presidency organizes the 8th edition of the EUSALP Annual Forum as an important moment to share, confirm and celebrate EUSALP achievements. The Forum will mark the end of a productive year dedicated to improving the governance of the Strategy, and jointly face challenges such as circular economy, preservation of natural resources and deployment of decarbonised mobility. The Annual Forum, that will take place in Bad Ragaz (Kanton St. Gallen), will be an occasion to review the Swiss Presidency in 2023 together with the political representatives of the four guest cantons and to discuss the new cross-cutting priorities developed jointly by the EUSALP action groups. The cross-cutting priorities concentrate on digitalisation, energy transition, water management and the circular economy. Extreme weather events, the energy crisis and the global competition facing the Alpine region are daily reminders of just how crucial these issues are. As partner of EUSALP, Alpine Space will participate to the Annual Meeting: in particular, Christina Bauer, head of the Managing Authority of the programme, will join a discussion about " Promoting Digitalisation for the Alps" together with other experts. The event will be streamed at this link (Password: 328004) More details are available on the EUSALP website
