Next week, project partners will visit Vallevecchia, a unique pilot farm managed by Veneto Agricoltura and owned by the Veneto Region. Located between Caorle and Bibione, it combines high-tech, sustainable farming with nature conservation. The 800-hectare site includes cropland and valuable Natura 2000 habitats such as dunes, wetlands, and forests. Vallevecchia hosts innovative trials on water management, precision farming, and conservation agriculture. It’s also home to one of Europe’s largest long-term experiments comparing regenerative and conventional farming practices in harmony with biodiversity and climate resilience.
