The DiMark Project and the Italian LTER Network are co-organizing a stakeholder-oriented outreach event focused on the ecological state of Lake Garda, within the framework of the Cammini LTER-Italia 2025 and the Alpine Space DiMark project. 

This public event will feature:  (i) Morning presentations on long-term research and monitoring in Lake Garda, including topics such as satellite observations, climate change, water quality, invasive species, and joint water management, (ii) free buffet lunch, (iii) afternoon field sessions along the lake’s shore, featuring interactive field sessions on aquatic vegetation and invasive species, led by expert researchers.

📍 Meeting point: 8:45 AM at Centro Civico “F. Gandini”, Via Mainetti 1, Peschiera del Garda

👥 Open to citizens and institutions, up to 100 participants – registration required.

The event will gather researchers, stakeholders, and general public for knowledge exchange and environmental education. It is organized with the support of the Municipality of Peschiera del Garda and the Comunità del Garda, and in collaboration with Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM) , CNR IREA (Milan) , ARPAV (Verona)
