ADAPTNOW Showcased at the 25th Anniversary of the Interreg Alpine Space Programme in Salzburg

May 19, 2025

From May 12 to 14, 2025, the city of Salzburg hosted a special event marking the 25th anniversary of the Interreg Alpine Space programme—a celebration of a quarter-century of successful cross-border cooperation, innovation, and regional development across the Alpine area.

Under the theme “Cooperation, Legacy and Change: 25 Years of Interreg Alpine Space”, the event brought together project partners, institutions, and stakeholders to reflect on past achievements and explore the opportunities ahead for the Alpine region.

As part of the celebration, the ADAPTNOW project was proudly presented at the dedicated project exhibition area. Featured among many other innovative initiatives, ADAPTNOW was showcased through a branded booth and a project display cube, attracting the interest of participants and fellow project representatives.

Mr. Fabio Carnelli from EURAC (Italy), one of the ADAPTNOW project partners, introduced the project and engaged in discussions about its goals, activities, and contributions to climate adaptation in the Alpine region.

Participating in such a milestone event provided a valuable opportunity to raise visibility, share knowledge, and connect with a broader community committed to building a resilient and adaptive Alpine future.
