Could the Alpine Region Become a Circular Economy Model Region?

Oct 28, 2024

We invite you this Friday to the panel “Could the Alpine Region Become a Circular Economy Model Region?”—a featured event of the 9th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP).

When: November 15, from 9:30 to 11:00
Where: Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia

This circular economy panel will explore the challenges and opportunities in transitioning the Alpine region to a sustainable, circular economy.

Jernej Pintar, PhD, CEO of our project partner Technology Park Ljubljana (Slovenia), will present key initiatives aimed at sustainable regional development and discuss how the Alpine region can serve as a model for circular economy practices in Europe.

While the EU leads in promoting sustainable production and consumption, regions still face hurdles, including economic and regulatory barriers, shifts in consumer behavior, and limited infrastructure.

This panel will highlight how EUSALP can support the region in overcoming these challenges and advancing sustainable growth.

Although registration has closed, those interested are still welcome to join and contribute to the discussion.
