At a time when Europe is undergoing one of the greatest transformations in the history of industry and
digitalisation, Ljubljana will host an exceptional event: the European Industry 5.0 Summit, organised by the
Institute for Industry 5.0 and the Ljubljana Technology Park in cooperation with partner organisations.

RECENTRE project  is part of the event and will show participants its offering, which was developed to support green, digital, and social transformation and is available to companies in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Italy and France in the form of pilot projects as part of Alpine Space Programme.

The summit will bring together experts from the fields of humanoid robots, virtual worlds, artificial intelligence, European data infrastructure, and Web 4.0 – the fourth generation of the internet. Participants will learn how these technologies enable the transition to Industry 5.0, why it is beneficial for European companies and their employees to start implementing Industry 5.0, and what the concrete steps are for the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0.

Participants will learn about:  the potential of humanoid robots in industry and society,

  • examples of Industry 5.0 implementation in companies,
  •  supporting technologies and data infrastructure that enable the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0
  • the importance of social innovation in the 5th industrial revolution
  • the impact of regulation on the innovation potential and operations of European companies
