From the 12th to the 14th of May a TranStat delegation traveled to Salzburg to celebrate a meaningful milestone: ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ต ๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ Interreg Alpine Space ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ! ๐
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with other projects, EUSALP members, and stakeholders from across the Alpine region. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of traditional wine-growing landscapes in enhancing resilienceโnot only for local economies and cultural identity, but also for biodiversity and sustainable land use. A ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด featuring ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ from various pilot areas (Alto Adige/Sรผdtirol, Valle dโAosta, Vipavska dolina, and Sรผdburgenland) offered a flavorful insight into regional richness and adaptive practices. ๐
On the third day, participants visited the ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐๐บ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐บ, a 50-hectare open-air museum showcasing historical Alpine buildings. The visit inspired valuable reflections on how ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ and ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ can inform todayโs strategies for climate resilience.
๐ฑ Learning from the past to shape a more sustainable future โ thatโs the spirit of the Interreg Alpine Space programme. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for organizing such an inspiring event!
