The ADAPTNOW partnership is pleased to announce the release of the Replication Guide, a new publication developed within the Interreg Alpine Space ADAPTNOW project.
This guide provides a comprehensive overview of how the results, tools, and climate adaptation services created through ADAPTNOW can be replicated and transferred to other Alpine regions. It brings together experiences and lessons learned from seven bilateral exchanges carried out between project partners and external organizations, highlighting innovative ways to strengthen climate resilience at local and regional levels.
About the Guide
The Replication Guide was developed to help local and regional authorities, energy and environmental agencies, and other stakeholders apply ADAPTNOW’s approaches in their own territories. It documents the process of knowledge transfer, collaboration, and mutual learning between Alpine organizations working on climate adaptation and risk management.
Key Takeaways
• The guide provides practical examples of replication and collaboration between Alpine partners.
• It highlights how local authorities can benefit from shared experience and tested tools.
• It emphasizes the importance of multi-level cooperation and community involvement in adaptation planning.
• It contributes to strengthening climate resilience in some of the most vulnerable territories of the Alpine Space.
Part of the ADAPTNOW Knowledge Package
The Replication Guide complements three other major outputs of the ADAPTNOW project:
1. Guidebook for Local Climate Adaptation and Risk Mitigation Planning
2. Alpine Climate Adaptation Support Service Package
3. Policy Recommendations for Regional and Local Authorities
Together, these resources form a complete toolkit to support Alpine territories in developing and implementing effective climate adaptation strategies.
