From 21 to 23 October, the partners of RESPOnD gathered in Südburgenland, Austria, for an intensive three-day meeting dedicated to strengthening cooperation and sharing technical knowledge across the Alpine viticulture network.
The sessions focused on the progress of each Work Package, including the development of pilot actions, communication updates, and upcoming research on climate-resilient vineyard management. Partners exchanged insights on ecosystem services and ecosystem-based adaptation strategies, including water and soil management, biodiversity protection, and adaptive cultivation practices, reinforcing a joint commitment to tackle the challenges of climate change through practical, science-based solutions.
Strategic discussions during the Steering Committee allowed the consortium to align future steps, ensuring coordinated actions and strong synergies between local and transnational initiatives.
This third transnational meeting marked a crucial milestone for RESPOnD — consolidating its role as a collaborative platform for innovation, resilience and sustainability in the Alpine wine sector. Together, we are shaping the future of climate-adapted Alpine viticulture!
