Slovenia, April 14 2025 – Our approach to developing new ideas is based on co-determination and involvement of all relevant and interested parties. Following the continuous expansion of our network of stakeholders and connection with emerging initiatives and projects that address the theme of circularity, we joined forces with the Slovenian Centre for Circular Economy (SCKG), a project in which CEFoodCycle project partner E-Institute is also actively involved.
SCKG will support companies transitioning to a circular economy, bringing together businesses, research and education institutions, public administration and citizens to support the green transition and a sustainable future by combining innovation and expertise. The Ministry of the Economy, which will ensure the project’s financing, stressed the need to link knowledge, competencies, and business models, comprehensively include stakeholders by personal approach, and establish a virtual entry point. The online platform will offer a knowledge base, a library, an academy and a toolbox for the self-assessment of circular maturity. We are delighted that the materials developed in the CEFoodCycle project will be part of this toolbox. To link projects, the design of circular solutions, innovative tools and examples of good practices that are currently most relevant were also presented.
