Few days ago in Passo Maniva, UNIMONT and Lombardy Region organised the first meeting with local youth within the framework of the Interreg Alpine Space TranStat project.
Following the initial workshop dedicated to ‘desirable futures’ with stakeholders, a further opinion was sought from young people aged between 18 and 25 who live in and inherit the territory.
After a moment of restitution on the main aspects that emerged from the analysis of territorial data conducted by UNIMONT, the youth participated in a co-creation session imagining possible future scenarios for their territories and validating those proposed by their predecessors.
Facilitated by a group of experts, the boys and girls present created a real manifesto of the future they would like for Passo Maniva that will be reported to local, regional and international policy makers. A complex but stimulating exercise according to the participants, who recognised themselves as potential agents of positive change.
