On 23 and 24 June 2026, the Lead Partners of the 16 newly approved Classic Call 3 projects gathered at the Get Started! Seminar in Salzburg for two days of training, synergy building and tailored advice from the Interreg Alpine Space programme, designed to give every project a confident start in the months ahead.
We warmly congratulate all 16 projects on their approval, and we look forward to seeing their work take shape across the Alpine region.
Day 1 — Tools and essentials for the months ahead
The Joint Secretariat and the Managing Authority guided participants through the practical essentials of running an Alpine Space project, pairing presentations with hands-on exercises and testimonials from experienced Lead Partners. Sessions covered:
- Project management
- Jems
- Reporting
- Financial management and national control systems
- Procurement
- Communication
Day 2 — Learning from peers, connecting with the macro-region
The second day put peer experience and cooperation at the centre.
It opened with the Lead Partners Breakfast, a peer-to-peer exchange in which experienced Lead Partners shared what they would do differently, including the early strategies that newcomers rarely get to hear about.
Participants then joined the Synergy Tables, a structured session connecting projects with EUSALP Action Groups and Alpine Convention Working Bodies to identify concrete opportunities for cooperation and mutual benefit across the Alpine Space.
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Salzburg. We’re already looking forward to following your progress — and we wish you all the very best for the start!
